Drawn down from the legend of Stumblin' Jack Belvedere, the El Bandito was the knife named after the legendary Mexican Outlaw, Pancho Jesus De Cuervo , who found Stumblin' Jack in the barrens of a New Mexico desert after having been wounded by Geronimo. El Bandito as he was known, gave Jack water, a horse and his personal knife and left him with the simple words “Vaya Con Dios.” This knife was created according to the best recollection of Stumblin' Jack Belvedere himself.

I’ve had this knife a year or more. I also have a similar Gentleman Jim that I got prior to the El Bandito. I like both of them but I like the handle and blade shape of the El Bandito better. The long, straight and very sharp tip really works for me. The knife is very easy to sharpen and holds an edge well. This is my everyday carry knife and I carry it razor sharp, as in readily shaving hair on my arm. I actually have a 3rd Emerson, my first one. They all sharpen easily to a razor edge. And of course they are well made.

This knife was built with one thing in mind and that is STABBING! BUT it does serve many other duties and is indeed a great edc. Great size overall with blade length and handle distribution as well. When pull this lil bad boy out it will spark conversation no doubt. Mighty fine knife and glad to have one.
