The Emerson CQC-7A | Stronger Than Ever

The CQC-7A is built with those with traditional blade values in mind. Along with the legendary ergonomics that you have come to know in Emerson Knives, this rough and tough everyday carry is built without the signature Emerson Wave Feature. Built on the frame of the most famous tactical knife of all time- the Emerson CQC-7– with its iconic chisel ground blade, it features a more conventional Spear Point design. Brutish yet elegant, this self defense, utility knife is all you'll ever need.  The CQC-7A is strong, sleek and to the point. It will serve you well as a tactical folder, a survival knife or an all rounder. It's a knife up to any task it encounters.

The Emerson CQC-7 is the iconic tactical knife that changed the knife industry. Every company has their version of it, but we serve the real deal. Find out why with your very own.

I'm not really sure what year the CQC7A (mini) came out, but bought one the first time I saw it at the Emerson table at a knife show. It became my everyday carry knife for the rest of my LE career, regardless of assignment or rank. Its a solid utilitarian knife that has certainly seen more abuse than any knife I've ever used, but it is still as useful as the day I bought it. I have several Emerson folders and a fixed blade, and this one is still my favorite and most carried.

  2. Patrick

I’ve been carying my CQC7 for about 3 months now, using it every day. I absolutely love it! If I lost it tomorrow I’d by another in a heartbeat

  3. Bill Beaudry

I've had mine for at least 20 yes. Great knife greatl feel my everyday carry. RN, emt, and former army medic, Leo.

  4. Frank Witter

I have owned one of these for 8 years and it is still as good as the day I received it. he belt clip is a little worn from use but the blade still has the black coating. I use this knife almost every day and have many other knives of different sizes and shapes but this is the one I carry all the time.
