Memorial Auction For Family Of Emerson Employee

By August 1, 2014Blog, Emerson Blog Project, News

Jason Leib Circa 2013-2014

We are deeply saddened by the sudden and tragic loss of one of our employees, our friend, Jason Leib who was killed in a car accident while riding his motorcycle home from work yesterday. Jason was one of our best employees, extremely well liked by everyone at Emerson Knives and he was my friend. A senseless accident took him away 15 minutes after work and leaves behind two beautiful children (girls) and his wife. Jason had not been dealt the best hand in life but he found a place to flourish here at Emerson Knives and we had promoted him to shop foreman, just two weeks ago. He loved his job and you could see the pride it brought to him that we had faith in him. He was one of the most helpful and considerate Jasonmen I have known. He was a good man, father and husband. And now he is gone. Everyone here will miss his presence in our “family.” We will be setting up something to help out his family. Please stay in touch for information on helping them out.

My Best Regards,

Ernest Emerson
