XHD-COMMANDER

Talk about a design that has been there and done that. Few knives could challenge the Emerson Commander. The Commander design is already recognized as an iconic, legendary knife that has been used and abused by every one of America’s elite military forces and all of the US alphabet agencies. That’s pretty hard to top – until now.

Let me introduce the Emerson XHD (Extra Heavy Duty) Commander model. This “battleship” version features a heavy duty blade that is .156 in. thick and ground from S35VN steel to a razors edge. The liners are built from .093 thick 6AL4V titanium with a replaceable lock insert. The Knife also features an extra thick, high rise, grooved titanium backspacer for super rigidity and strength.

This is the most extreme Commander we’ve ever made and it’s overbuilt to tackle the most extreme use a knife could handle. The XHD Commander takes this legendary Emerson design to a new level and it screams power, strength and performance at the top of its lungs.

For a knife that's already “Famous In The Worst Places” this is one that might just be known as “Feared In The Worst Places,” and rightly so.
