The Iron Dragon
This is a special knife for a very special cause. As everyone is now aware, the attempt on the life of former President Donald Trump resulted in the death of one of the attendees and serious injuries to several others. For those who were injured we pray for your recovery.
The Emerson Knives family has always stepped up to help those we could in their time of need.
We are putting this handmade custom knife up for auction to donate 100% of the proceeds to the Support For Butler PA Victims – a fund setup to help the families of those whose lives are permanently affected by the acts of the would be assassin.
The lives of those wounded and the family of Corey Comperatore who was killed while shielding his family, have been changed forever.
The knife we are donating to the auction is a fully handmade custom knife – exactly like the custom knives I bring to the shows.
The knife is “The Iron Dragon,” a design I made in tribute to my mentor and Sufu, Richard Bustillo, who now is no longer with us.
As a senior student of Bruce Lee, the “Little Dragon,” Richard Bustillo was given the title the “Iron Dragon” for his strength, tenacity, and toughness. I will always miss him.
This knife is a born and bred fighter with a wicked razor sharp recurve blade (you know I love recurves) seated in a fully secure Emerson Ergonomic handle providing a sure grip in any high stress environment.
Featuring titanium bolsters and a .090 thick titanium lock and .062 titanium topside liner, the handles are finished off with green canvas micarta slabs, a signature feature so prominent on Emerson SPECWAR fighting knives since the beginning of my career.
This is a great fighting knife design, honoring one of the toughest “Real World” warriors I have ever known.
