The Emerson Tiger knife is just like a real tiger- an apex predator. It is a purebred fighting knife featuring a razor-sharp trailing point wed to a serious self-defense handle style culminating in legendary Emerson Ergonomics. The Tiger tactical knife is a knife that anyone, soldier or civilian could count on in a life-threatening or emergency situation.
How do I know if my Tiger is an original Emerson Signature Series version?
The Emerson Tiger was one of the original members of the Signature Series. Demand has been through the roof so we decided to bring it into our regular production catalog. Those who have an original Signature Series Tiger knife will be able to tell by the year 2014 etched on the front of the blade. New production models will feature our current Emerson Logo with no year.
KNIFE ANATOMY
HOW TO USE THE WAVE FEATURE
An important part of knowing the anatomy of an Emerson Knife is knowing how to utilize it. Using the  patented Emerson Wave Feature correctly, you can deploy the knife out of pocket rapidly. It takes some practice to master. See how it's done in the video above.
BLADE STYLE: SABRE POINT
The Sabre shape is a blade that arcs upward in a long continuous arc placing the point above the center line of the knife.
Standoff Spacers have been standard on all Emerson Knife models since 2014. Any knife ordered from our site from that year will receive one of these models.
Lanyard Holes serve one purpose: attaching a paracord lanyard if you choose to get one. We get asked that question quite a lot!
The Thumb Button is there so that you may open the knife single handedly . Specifically with your thumb. Some people are naturals at it and some have to learn. Either way, it's very useful.

This knife is perfect! The size is not too big or too small, the handle fits perfectly regardless of your grip preference, and the centerline of the blade is perfect! The opening and closing is flawless! This one is another great knife created for the everyday chore of self defense!

This knife, roadhouse, cq7, and ex 100 my favorites. Easily worth the purchase. I have more than one copy. Tiger feels the best in the hand. Very ergonomic!

Wow. Stunning. What an incredible blade. Nothing compares to this at all, it's in it's own class. It is the most graceful blade I have ever owned. When you hold it you can tell it can do anything and look great doing it. Semper Fi

This knife is most definitely one of Ernest Emersons best designs. Awesome knife, extremely sharp and dangerous. I salute you Mr Emerson!!
Michael Shurgalla –
This knife is just perfection. It locks into your hand and the curved blade makes cutting tasks down right easy. The satin finish blade is stunning with its grind lines and swedge, it comes scary sharp. It will perform flawlessly for edc or self defense use.

RAWR.
Careful, it bites.
Feline ergonomics place this knife comfortably in your paw, offering a excellent grip, forward or reverse. I wouldn't want to be on the business end of this thing. From EDC to self-defense, the Tiger has your bases covered.

Incredible ergonomics with a blade profile that can be easily use for every day tasks as well for self defense if needed. This is one of the best designs out there… Great knife!
Sharod Merrill –
This knife is my #1 edc go to. It’s a folder any trained blade guy or enthusiast can appreciate. Blade profile is exceptional w/ edge dropped just slightly below grip line to present the whole edge right at the line of your knuckles. The grip profile will become legendary among Emerson knives (which is saying a lot) along w/ any Tactical folder on the market.

One of the best models ever, certainly among the “newer” designs. I've had every iteration so far (except the Golden Tiger).

This is now my go-to blade to carry when going outdoors. This knife can handle almost anything you need to throw at it, whether that is skinning a deer, processing small game or prepping wood for a small fire. If you're an outdoorsman or advid hunter, I highly recommend this blade.

I want to write to highly recommend purchasing this blade on a next run or finding one second hand if you can.
The combination of perfect retention on the handle and curved, elegant blade shape make this knife not only look good but also very applicable to the daily carry all the way to carry on duty as military/police/ems. It feels like a weapon and a tool at the same time. I believe firmly that it would result in a perfect outcome no matter what task you put it to – like every Emerson knife. However The Tiger really does hit home in many areas including blade shape for easy of sharpening and handle comfort, deployment, aesthetics etc.
Thank you once again for this perfect design.

This knife is phenomenal. I have many blades by many makers including EKI. This one feels so good in the swing. It is so smooth. It is so enjoyable to hold in the hand and open. It's a work of art. Plus Ernie says it's great for fighting, edc, etc. I am just a dude. But it is on the top for one of my favorite blades, ever. Well done Sir.

This knife screams bad a** just holding it alone you can feel what this knife is capable of. The quality is just like any emerson knife very sharp and well built. If you can get your hands on this knife DO It you won't be disappointed.
