We put a spearpoint blade in it, we made a mini version of it, and we even put the “wave feature” on it. The CQC-7  just won't go away; It just keeps getting better. The Super CQC-7BW, the bigger, badder brother of the Emerson CQC-7BW. Demand for a Super CQC-7BW was way too great to pass up. The SUPER CQC-7BW answers the overwhelming demand for the larger version of our popular CQC-7BW. It's a real handful, and we mean that both figuratively and literally. This is not just a knife anymore- It is an awesome cutting machine. This is just about as close to having a Samurai Sword in your pocket as you can get.

Bought this for my everyday carry for work. I needed a tough rugged folding knife that could handle abuse and not have to baby. It’s been 2 weeks of using my super CQC-7 and I am more than thrilled. This is one of the sharpest best cutting knives out of the box I’ve ever owned. I work in a heavy industrial environment. I’ve used the knife to pry open an engine cover stuck and rusted in place for about 20 years. It got it done with ease. The steel is so tough and holds a great edge. I like the simplicity of sharpening with the chisel edge. I ran it over a strop a few times and the edge came back razor sharp. The handle is something special. It fits in your hand like a custom grip and gives you such a firm purchase. I’m a total fan of Emerson’s. I just purchased another mini A100 to go along with my CQC-7.

I agree with the other reviews… Too big for everyday carry and the action is very stiff .. the return policy is kinda restrictive as far as cost so I just am gonna leave it in my drawer

Bought this for my husband the last time they were available and holy smokes! It's massive! Too big for me lol. My husband carries this every day. He doesn't leave the house without it. He has large hands and it's difficult for him to find a folding knife that fits just right. He seems to really love this knife.

High quality.. although really stiff action honestly too big to carry… I was thinking the profile was going to be more like the Benchmade version… The blade is ..but the handle is way thicker and wider.. probably better for hard use but not for fitting in pocket… Unfortunately one would take a hit on the return policy so I'll just keep it in my drawer… Kind of a shame

This is my 7th Emerson knife I’ve carried since 2006, they aren’t cheap for an everyday carry, and hurts when lost, (tsa, and the mountains) but I know when needed it doesn’t matter what it’s for, it stands up to the abuse. Thanks to Emerson for producing something that’s worth every penny I’ve ever paid. Emerson for life!

Pocket sword. If you love the CQC-7 but want more blade, this is where you go. I have big hands, and this is a full-size knife to get any job done that I need finished the first time. Only wish it didn't take up so much space in my pocket, but it's a price I can live with paying. Great / solid piece of kit, highly recommended if you are a fan of the Seven, and love the tanto-style blades!

The Super CQC-7 is simply the best constructed knife in my collection. The quality materials, finish and reputation of being the baddest blade in theater makes this knife worth every penny. Stop BS-ing and spend the money- you won't be disappointed!

I've got a bunch of really great knives, but more often than not my super cqc-7 is riding in my pants pocket. Top shelf tool in all respects.

The perfect EDC knife; it is rugged, and effective, but doesn't draw a lot of unwanted attention when you pull it out at work. It also fits nicely into your pocket, without getting in the way, and fits nicely in your hand, if you have big hands. My first and favorite Emerson.
