Orders are typically processed within 48 hours, Monday through Thursday. We do not process or ship orders on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.
Orders placed before 10:00 AM Pacific Time may be processed the same day. However, same-day processing or shipping is not guaranteed.
Orders placed after 10:00 AM Pacific Time on Thursday will generally ship the following Monday or Tuesday.
Orders containing custom options, including serrations, colored handles, or drill-and-tap services, may require at least one additional processing day.
OBS and ECA membership orders require an additional 7–10 business days to process.
Tracking information will be emailed once your order ships.
Please verify your billing and shipping information carefully before submitting your order. Orders cannot be modified after they have been placed.
We do not ship to hotels, freight forwarders, or package-forwarding facilities.
USPS shipments may be delivered to eligible PO Boxes. UPS shipments require a valid physical address.
Domestic orders are shipped through USPS or UPS, depending on the shipping method selected and the destination.
Free shipping, when offered, will be sent using the most economical insured shipping method available. Delivery may take seven or more business days after the order has shipped.
If tracking shows that a package was delivered but it cannot be located, the customer should first check the delivery area, surrounding property, household members, neighbors, and any other location where the carrier may have left the package.
The customer must then contact their local USPS office directly and request that the delivery scan and delivery location be reviewed.
After speaking with the local USPS office, the customer may contact Emerson Knives with their order number, tracking number, and any information or documentation provided by USPS.
We may then submit a USPS service request and, when applicable, assist with filing an insurance claim.
Submitting a service request or claim does not guarantee reimbursement, replacement, or approval. All claims are subject to USPS investigation, eligibility requirements, documentation requirements, insurance coverage, and final determination.
International shipping availability may be limited and is determined by the destination, the item ordered, and the shipping carriers available at the time of purchase.
Customers are solely responsible for confirming that all items in their order may be legally imported, received, owned, and possessed in the destination country or jurisdiction.
Emerson Knives does not provide legal advice and cannot guarantee that an item will be accepted by a carrier, cleared by customs, or permitted under the laws of the destination country.
Carriers may maintain their own prohibited or restricted-item policies that are separate from local, state, federal, or international laws.
The customer is responsible for all applicable customs charges, import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, handling fees, and other charges imposed by a carrier or government authority.
Customs processing may delay delivery. Emerson Knives has no control over customs inspections, clearance decisions, carrier compliance reviews, or the amount of any fees assessed.
Charges paid directly to a carrier, customs agency, or government authority are not collected by Emerson Knives and cannot be refunded by us.
Original shipping charges are nonrefundable once an order has shipped.
We do not refund or replace international shipments that are delayed, held, refused, rejected, confiscated, seized, lost, damaged, or destroyed by customs, a carrier, or another government authority.
If an international shipment is returned to Emerson Knives, any eligible merchandise refund will be determined after the package has been received and inspected.
Return shipping charges, customs charges, carrier fees, duties, taxes, and other costs associated with the return may be deducted from the refund where permitted.
Returned merchandise must be received in its original, unused, and resalable condition to qualify for a merchandise refund.
Shipping an order does not represent a guarantee that the item is legal at the destination or that it will be accepted by the carrier or customs authorities.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or hold any order shipping to a known freight-forwarding company, package-forwarding service, mail-forwarding facility, export agent, or similar third-party address.
If an order is shipped to a freight-forwarding address, the shipment is placed entirely at the customer’s sole risk.
Once the carrier marks the package as delivered to the address provided at checkout, Emerson Knives is not responsible for any subsequent loss, theft, damage, misdelivery, delay, missing contents, export issue, customs issue, or other problem.
Orders delivered to freight-forwarding addresses are not eligible for refunds, replacements, reshipments, credits, or insurance claims for issues occurring after delivery to the forwarding address.
FPO and APO addresses are accepted when the selected items and shipping services are eligible.
Additional transit time, carrier restrictions, and destination restrictions may apply.
