Take a Tan CQC -7V and a CQC-7AW, swap the scales and you have a perfect Tan CQC-7AW.
Thought about swapping the blades the handles seemed less risky for a good fit, was correct.
EKC, machinist first goes knife designer maker, always a good recipe for a superior product.
Easily disassembled and reassembled what a treat.
    Stay sharp,

I'd always wanted to add some Emersons to my collection and daily carry. I saw Jason Hayes from Seal Team sporting this CQC-7 with tan handles and immediately had to get one. Amazing blade and attention to detail. This knife is a solid tool and feels amazing! Everyone at Emerson are so kind, and very customer focused. My collection keeps growing with Emersons!

Special blade and handle scales really Carrie’s well EDC. Black blade with Tan G10 Lego style is my choice.

Purchased in the dumpster fire year of 2020. Reminds me of the Benchmade CQC7 I purchased in the early 90's as my first relatively expensive name brand knife, only the Emerson is of better build quality. Overall I am extremely pleased with it. I do have a couple nit-pick's. #1 I am a bit disappointed it's running on plastic washer's. #2 lock stick is.. Wow! Overall, going to be a great addition to my EDC.

A very special knife. One I rotate into my daily carry. Mine was given to me as a gift and I've used it many times in my daily use of this knife. Mine is serrated which comes in handy when you need to cut through things like webbing, rope, etc.

First Emerson I ever owned was a secondhand tan CQC7V. Felt great in the hands and can’t beat the warranty service. I’ve since had multiple Emerson’s and introduced them to my siblings.

I've owned a CQC-7V SFS in the past and boy was that an exciting purchase. I liked that the G10 on this knife has a more coarse texture and also thicker slabs. Feels like a brick in the hand so you know it's rock solid. Waving a CQC-7 feels nice. Wish I still owned one. The grind on it was fantastic. Very symmetrical just like all the Emerson's I've owned. Edge is always screaming sharp and each time I buy a new Emerson I always end up missing hair from my legs or my arms.

I have the jungle green cqc7 and love it fast to deploy and damn solid knife I carry it everyday as a welder

Bought this knife at Blade 2018 after talking to the Emerson crew. One of my favorite knives

Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I shall fear no evil for my Emerson & HK 416 comforts me. Been on the teams for many years and I must say many have come & gone but their stories are all the same; Emerson will not let you down in a high risk environment. We are the best of the best using the best of the rest. Thank you Mr, Emerson for you commitment and superior performance in what you do best. Make Bad A** Knifes.

A very special, possibly limited edition CQC-7… very nice… the CQC-7 in chisel grind is awesome, and this is just as awesome… get one before they decide to discontinue this model…
